Is social media making us socially awkward?

I found this in internet and I wanted to share with you. They speak about the time we spend on Facebook. And how online relationships affect real-world relationships. 24% of people surveyed have missed important moments in person because they were busy trying to share those moments on their social network.
39% of Americans spend more time socializing online rather than face-to-face and 33% prefer to meet new people online rather than in person.
Singapore´s citizens are who spend 38 min 46 sec each day on Facebook. They are who spend more time. They use social media to maintanin "real friendship" ,62% sharing good news and 82% stay in touch with faraway friends.
50 % facebooks users have more than 100 friends.
11% confessed than they lie .They speak about looking cool and interesting.
Online friends don´t replace to offline friends.
Offline friends are more:
 interdependence,
depth,
understanding,
 commitment.
