After several weekends, and after several sheets made , I dare to criticize the fact that children have homework, because I think they should not have them, and to criticize the kind of duties that send them, because I believe that children should be able to do homework alone.
What's the point if the parents have to don't ?
I have two daughters ,15 and 11 years old. They have to do a lot of homework to do e ereryday. I work everyday and It' s imposible we can help them.
I don't remember my parents have to help me when I was a child. But today ! Irecognize that duties are much more difficult.
Don't know teachers that parents work? Even homework are difficult for us .
The weekend we would dedicate ourselves doing things we like.
Homework are sometimes so complicated or poorly addressed we have to read twice to understand what needs to be done.
I think children should do at home, as much, as they have done in class: "Today I have explained this subject because it strengthen you home." It seems that what we do at home is to deepen and explain new concepts and methodology to answer the difficult questions that thing becomes tedious.
Homework freer, which encourages children to delve into issues, help thinking, help feed the curiosity of children and helps them learn based on their motivations.
That is important and what will help them in life.

Oh, I agree with you completely! Some years ago, I read a book called "An End to Homework,"and the author believed that too much homework was preventing children from doing other activities that also help them to learn and grow! And I know that your children already learn so much in school! It is not good when parents and children cannot spend time together having fun, because there is too much work to do!

The problem is not only the amount of homework , is that they are very difficult , and children need help to do it.
