Spanish eat the half of the bread recommended in a balanced diet


 Spanish consume approximately 100 grams of bread a day, which supposes less than the half of the recommended for the specialists in nutrition to support a balanced diet.
The experts recommend to eat between 200 and 250 grams of bread a day for person, since it is an important source of carbohydrates, fiber, proteins, vitamins of the group B and mineral, essential for the health.
The old people about 65 years are the Spanish who more bread consume (51,44 kilos a year) and that less, the 35-year-old  (20,82 kilos a year). The population does not activate eats more bread than activates (41,63 kilos a year opposite to 29,29 kilos).
